Gewinnt Freunde we open the sound-universe with and for Ilia Ferrein
from Novosibirsk, Russia.
Once for all, it‘s clear, it‘s about Dubtechno here. With „Meeting Sea &
Hover“, Ferrein creates a perfect, clear, dreamy and reduced as well as an
euphoric Dubsound atmoshpere, with little moments full of magic melodies.
The proper counterpart and highlight remix on the B-Site is presented by
doyen Robag Wruhme. There is no further introduction needed, we think...
His remix of „Meeting Sea“ includes his typically energetic, nearly hypnotic
sound and it grooves as always keeping the focus on the original track at the
same time.
Musik Gewinnt Freunde will kick off the year 2013 with Raw Verse, Vid Vai,
My Head und YokoO. We are incredibly happy have these fantastic artists
on board. Our catalogue number 21 entitled „Across The Borders“ does it’s
credit as we will musically travel through Europe. It starts in Italy, over Slovenia
and France and last but not least we‘ll land in the Outback of Australia.
The A-Side starts with a goosebump track by C.Layne, where the guys
from Raw Verse gave the finishing touches and present us their very own
version of it as a remix. Vid Vai, well known from the Rimini #2 EP made with
„Perpetually“ a track that won‘t let you stand still. On the B-Side you will find
seasonable, melancholic tracks produced by My Head and YokoO.
Finally, after around 20 great releases on the label we are really happy to
celebrate 6 years of „Musik Gewinnt Freunde“. True to the motto „Save The
Vinyl“ we will present you the first double LP on „MFG“. Will it have a new
livery, new design, new logo and new music..? Wait.. NO!! The Ordinary EP
was freshly remixed and newly interpreted by our Artistsclan Alex Q, Lake
People, Cosmic Cowboys and Ken Hawayaka. You will find a perfect remix
package full of typical Label Sound from the last 6 years. Number 20 is a
milestone for us, something we also owe to our faithful fans. As a consequence,
we will give out the track „Ordinary“ as a free download track. True
to the motto of the past years: Never forget no-response - you can download,
copy, play and spread this track like you want.
